1. You are not one of His people and will be allowed to continue to condemn yourself according to your works, even as you profess Christ.
Matthew 7:21-23 (ESV) “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you;depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
2. You are one of His people and He will discipline you to bring you back into alignment.
Revelation 3:19 (ESV) - Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.
3. You are one of His people and He will remove you.
1 John 5:16 (ESV) - If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life—to those who commit sins that do not lead to death. There is sin that leads to death - I do not say that one should pray for that.
