New Team CS Member - Bob Vigneault

Hi, folks - I want to introduce the newest member of Team CS, Bob Vigneault.

Bob is a Moderator (and some say, male model ) for the Puritan Board. He has a couple of cool blogs, a great wit and a heart for the glory of God, as well as being creative, funny and committed to the authority of Scripture and a theistic worldview. A perfect fit!

Unbelievable! ...The extent man not founded upon Christ will go and follow in their quest and pursuit of self and attempts to explain away reality and sin. Here's Oprah's spiritual sage... Eckhart Tolle Christianity (Understanding Eckhart Tolle - Comparison / Difference with Christianity)

I believe it important that both believers and unbelievers understand the difference between the teaching of Eckhart Tolle and Christianity. Here's a brief post to introduce you to a few of the significant differences. Parallel Processing: Reconciling Creation and Time

The Curiosity rover, which landed on Mars in 2012, is equipped with two primary computers: the Rover Compute Element (RCE) and the Vision Compute Element (VCE). What's particularly interesting is how these two systems operate at different speeds within the same overall system. The RCE, which handles the rover's main functions, runs on a radiation-hardened RAD750 processor clocking at a modest 200 MHz. This might seem slow by Earth standards, but it's robust enough to withstand the harsh Martian environment. In contrast, the VCE, which processes image data for navigation, uses a significantly faster processor that can run at speeds up to 400 MHz. This allows for quicker processing of visual data, crucial for the rover's autonomous navigation.
