Mary Schweitzer’s T. rex soft tissue discovery was controversial before creationists ever touched it. Flexible vessels. Cell-like structures. Elastic matrix. The first reaction was disbelief. Then came concern over who would use the data. Then came containment theories. Then came iron chemistry as the rescue mechanism.
Maybe the chemistry is real for a couple of years.
But years in a lab do not demonstrate 68 million years in history.
That’s the issue.
When the data challenges the model, any rescue is accepted.
