What if the conflict between Scripture and science begins with a question we rarely ask?
When we measure the world backward from what we observe today, are we necessarily measuring its actual history?
The Biblical WorldModel (BWM) begins with a simple commitment: God’s Word and God’s world ultimately tell one coherent story. Scripture provides the primary interpretive framework. The created world is real, intelligible, and worthy of rigorous investigation.
Adam was created mature. The wine at Cana possessed properties normally produced through years of growth, harvest, fermentation, and aging. In both cases, measuring the mature state and reconstructing the ordinary process backward would yield a history that never occurred.
That raises a much larger question:
Does calculable retrodictive age (an age inferred by projecting present observations backward under assumed processes) entail actual past history?
